You should see this application now* (edit) listed in the the window.Add - Browse to DS4Windows installation folder.Open 'HidHide' (it will be called HidHide configuration client).Make note if you connected via USB or Bluetooth.Disconnect and Connect back your controller to the PC.DS4Windows - Settings tab- Disable/Uncheck 'Hide DS4 Controller'.You may want to check up if you want to install it (go through it), don't take my word for it and use at your own caution.Using HidHide instead of inconsistent 'Hide DS4 Controller' feature Click on Right Touchpad to swap back to the previous profile.Click on Left Touchpad to swap the profile and load up "Gyropad Mouse" profile.Swap your Controller profile back to your usual one. This is not profile specific, but global across all profiles (or that is how it behaves on my installation).Enable the "Activate GM" Special Action.Press the 'Set Unload Trigger' button (this is to unload the profile).Trigger: Left Touch (that means you need to click the left side of the touch pad).Give this special action a name, example " Activate GM".After setting up a dedicated profile for "Gyropad Mouse", setup a Special Actions. Also don't forget to calibrate your Gyro sensitivity/other settings.Else swap out Triggers for Bumpers in the assignments.Useful if you find the gyro pointer moving as you use triggers as mouse buttons.R1 to lock Gyro (you can swap it to L1 if you like).Check if you can use controller as mouse.'Smoothing' checkbox as per your preference. You need a button to lock Gyro, it helps.Leaving this unchecked would mean that the gyro will always work as a mouse, until R1 is held.Uncheck 'Turn Behaviour - Turn Gyro' (checkbox should be empty). You should see this reflected on the Button menu list.Select action for each of the button as ' Unbound'.Select each of these buttons on the controller image.Select action for R2 as R icon on the mouse (Mouse right click).Select R2 buttons on the controller image.Select action for L2 as L icon on the mouse (Mouse left click).Select L2 buttons on the controller image.Bind L2, R2 as Left Mouse Button, Right Mouse button.(We are going to use triggers for Mouse buttons, R1 or L1 as Gyro Lock) Go back to Editing the "Gyropad Mouse" profile.Set this as the current controller Profile (so you you can see the changes immediately).Save the Profile for Mouse as anything you like, example "Gyropad Mouse".If you create a new profile Select a Preset 'Yes'.Create or duplicate an existing profile you are using. ![]() I don't use "Load a Profile" method via Special Actions in DS4Windows for a mouse pointer, I instead use gyro as a mouse on my main generic profile and without any mouse buttons assigned to the controller.īut here is an example you can probably try step by step from scratch, hence verbose and bear with me.
